Coming soon to Birstall Garden Centre…

Join us for some fantastic cooking tips and tasty samples on our barbecue demonstration days we have coming up in May.

Firstly we have the brilliant Landmann visiting us on Saturday the 11th of May. They will be cooking on a mixture of charcoal and gas barbecues to show you the variety they have to offer.

They have been making barbecues for over 50 years and with all the knowledge they have gathered over time, they have brought together a range of barbecues that cater for all styles of cooking.

If you are looking for a new barbecue for the summer and can’t decide between gas or charcoal, this demonstration should help you to decide which one to go for!

Next up, we have the amazing Kamado Joe with us on Saturday the 25th of May. We are very new to Kamado Joe and cannot wait to see what they are going to show us. An ancient, Asian-style grill, the Kamado is a thick-walled cooker that imparts rich, smoky flavour to meat, fish and vegetables.

Taking grilling to the next level, the Kamado Joe offers tiered cooking so you can cater for garden parties and events a lot easier than other barbecues would. With great accessories and a variety of cooking surfaces, you can personalise your cooking experience.

Do you want to cook a pizza? You can turn the Kamado Joe into a pizza oven. Do you want to fry an egg? You can pop in a griddle plate and fry away. If you want to make a casserole or stir fry, you can – with the Kamado dutch oven and wok. The accessories make cooking so versatile on these grills.

We are so excited to have Kamado Joe joining us to show us how fantastic they are live in action. You can cook anything on their premium grills, and they are certainly going to prove that.
