Haddonstone - Waterloo Urn

The Waterloo Urn stone planter is an imposing planter in classical form with deep gadrooning and egg-and-dart detail to the rim. Stockport Borough Council commissioned Haddonstone to produce a series of these imposing Waterloo Urns as focal points to line the terraces at Lyme Hall, Cheshire - now owned by the National Trust. Lyme Park and Lyme Hall have been used in many films and television programmes, perhaps most famously in the BBC TV adaptation of Pride & Prejudice in 1995. This piece is the perfect ornament for lining terraces, walkways and balustrading, or can be used as a focal point in a garden or landscape.
This UK Made collection of Stonework is the most comprehensive of its kind produced anywhere. Pieces from the range have been chosen for the gardens of some of the worlds most famous buildings, including palaces, stately homes, National Trust properties, international hotels, state buildings and gardens, as well as private houses and gardens of every description. Each single item is the work of highly skilled craftsmen.
