Haddonstone - Equine Head Statue

This Equine Head Statue has been expertly carved with distinguished, lifelike detail. It is a strong replica of the original stone horse head that was excavated at Civitavecchia near Rome in the 1500s. Later, it was adapted to serve as a foundation spout in the courtyard of the Medici Palace, so its design is steeped in rich history.
