Directions:

Approaching on the M1 motorway from the south take junction 21a just past the Leicester Forest East services. Drive east on the A46 Leicester Newark road for 5 miles and turn off at the Leicester Loughborough slip road to the A6. Take the last exit on the elevated roundabout into Birstall. Then turn left into village centre and look for the blue butterfly.

Approaching on the M1 motorway from the north take junction 24 and follow the A6 through Loughborough into Birstall, or continue to junction 22 and take the Leicester A50 for 5 miles then turn left onto the A46 Leicester Newark Road. Drive east for 4 miles and turn off at the Leicester Loughborough slip road to the A6. Take the last exit on the elevated roundabout into Birstall. Then turn left into village centre and look for the blue butterfly.
