An excellent, very dark coloured flat-round onion with rings right to the centre, best planted late.

These sets are small onions harvested during the first year which are specially stored for planting during the Spring. They can be planted early and produce a quick crop of large onions. Onion sets are preferable to seeds as they have a greater yield with less risk.
