Considered by many as the best variety for early maturing in our indifferent British summers and recommended by the Northern Horticultural Society. The cobs are often packed with sweet creamy-yellow kernels.

Most successful in well cultivated, deep soil in full sun. For the best flavour use immediately after harvesting the cobs. Sow under unheated glass in pots in April for planting outdoors in May preferably under cloches.
