Excellent on dry soils where annual Spinach would run to seed quickly. Hardy and useful for autumn and winter dishes. Sow March-July.

Nutritious and tasty, and crops continuously if picked often. Sow March-August outdoors and thin out early for use in summer and autumn, and also in September to over winter.
