A British bred 'Beauty Heart' variety of Chinese Radish with sweet red flesh of slightly nutty taste. Sliced roots are delicious and make an attractive addition to mixed salads. Can also be used in stir fry cooking.

For winter use sow in July. Very large roots which remain in situ to be lifted as required. In very severe weather cover straw or bracken. Alternatively lift and store roots in dry sand, soil, or peat. Excellent sliced or shredded in winter salads.
