The Juice C2 is an extremely handy little devil with fiery red anodized aluminum handles. A true Leatherman, the C2 is well equipped with pliers, wire cutters and four screwdrivers. Steel Characteristics. Leatherman tools are made from 100% stainless steel to provide years of dependable service. Each 400-series stainless implement is heat treated to optimal hardness for its function. For example, knives and files are typically tempered to Rockwell C 57 to achieve excellent edge retention. The plier jaws and most screwdrivers have a Rockwell C hardness of 49-53 for better durability.
Quality Standards. Look at the sharp corners on these screwdrivers, built to ANSI specifications for strength and dimensions (which are verified with a laser micrometer). Plier jaws are regularly torture tested, they are finished and riveted so precisely you can cut paper with the wire cutters. Even non-functional cosmetic flaws no bigger than a speck of pepper are not acceptable in any of the numerous inspections each tool must pass.
