This formula combines wheat-germ, spirulina and vitamins and minerals to provide a diet that is high in nutrition, easily digested, a powerful colour enhancer and promotes outstanding growth characteristics. This superior diet can be fed to African cichlids and many types of plant eating tropical fish.

Hikari Cichlid Excel is a floating pellet and will not cloud the water. Floating foods allow you to readily monitor your fish’s eating habits and avoid over-feeding. The main ingredient in Hikari Cichlid Excel is wheat-germ. Wheat-gem is high in vitamin E to promote long-term health and vigour. Wheat Germ also contains linoleic acid, which promotes healthy organs and active reproduction. Finally, wheat-germ is easily digested allowing your fish to take full advantage of Hikari CichIid Excel’s complete nutrition. In our quest for quality ingredients, only pure cultured spirulina is used. This is the finest grade of spirulina available and high in necessary algae. Hikari Cichlid Excel is high in stabilized vitamin C, providing resistance to stress and immunity to infectious disease. FEEDING ... Feed 2 to 4 times daily the amount your fish will consume within a few minutes of feeding. Care should be taken to avoid over-feeding. Please remove all uneaten food after feeding period.
