Westminster use the finest available grade teak which is hand finished by craftsmen. Their skills and practical understanding of this material are reflected in the overall design and quality of the finished product. Manufactured to stringent quality control guidelines, all teak products are constructed using traditional dowelled mortice and tennon joinery with solid brass or stainless steel fittings and fixings. Naturally rich in oleoresin, teak is highly resistant to warping and rotting and will last for many years without any special treatment.

The Teak used in the manufacture of Westminster furniture comes from Plantations which are working with WWF or TFT (Tropical Forest Trust) This ensures that far from being depleted and threatened, this wonderful species flourishes and remains protected.
