This Iroko timber is sourced from Ghana, West Africa where the furniture is manufactured under Alexander Rose supervision to ensure consistent high quality.
Iroko is very durable with a long life span and is ideally suited to endure the extremes of a european climate. Left untreated it will naturally turn a soft, silvery grey and should be cleaned with soapy water. Alternatively, it may be treated to enhance and help protect and preserve the look of the wood.

All chairs and tables from Alexander Rose co-ordinate and can interchange. The details include stainless steel screws, hand sanded finishing, extensive use of mortice and tenon joints, contoured seat and back sections and brass fittings where appropriate.
