Available 2.41m, 3.16m, 3.95m, 4.70m, 5.48m, and 6.24m long. Alton Victorian Greenhouses are made from the finest Western Red Cedar. This is used for the framework and cladding, which is sourced entirely from sustainable forests. Cedar has a durability and resistance to decay, and also a coefficient of expansion, so that it does not shrink, swell or warp excessively, even when subjected to changing degrees of temperature and moisture. The bottom of the greenhouse is boarded with 12mm TG and V cedar matchboard to a height of 732mm. A turned cedar ornamental finial ia provided at both ends. The standard greenhouse finish is factory treated, by total immersion in Golden Honey spirit based presevative. 3mm toughened glass is supplied as standard in this greenhouse.

Alton design features also include a door of mortice and tenon construction and part boarded with matchboard.The door is hinged on the left with three 100mm hurl hinges and is hung to open inwards. Five lever mortice lock and brass colour lever handle furniture is included. 76mm half round guttering and a 68 mm pipe with shoe, to both sides of the green house. These are colour coordinated dependant on finish.
If any part of the Cedar framework rots or decays within TEN YEARS of purchase, it will be replaced promptly and FREE OF CHARGE.
